About Karthika Masam

"Karthika masam" is very special month for Hindus all over world.. but now-a-days the traditions are forgotten.. I hope there are so many people who want to know about this special month..

What we need to do this month:
1. Need to take bath twice a day and do some rituals apprising Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva.(some believe that this month is for lord shiva only but from the "Karthika Purana" It said that this month is for both Lords Shiva and Vishnu.. )
2. Need to lit Diya(jyothi) morning and evening.
3.Evening need to do pooja of Tulasi(sacred tree).
4. Need to read 'Karthika Purana' one chapter per day.(you can find that in the link provided: karthika puranam)
